Sunny Friend Greeting Card
I've shared with you that most of my time is being spent on making wedding invitations, so I'm trying to make simple cards when I take my breaks from the invites.
I made this card on Thursday, when the weather here in Minnesota was GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, and Whisper White
As usual, I love my embossing folders. In this case I didn't have pattern paper that matched the yellow. I'm actually really happy with the outcome of the card.
Of course, I also had to add a button...what can I say?

My stamp image is basically one of my "first" stamps since I started with my cardmaking hobby. It's also one of those so-neglected stamps that's just gathering dusts inside my cubby box. But it's inked today! And probably will be inking it more in the future. (I hope, lol!). I used SU! Old Olive for my image and for the sentiment (Stampendous), I used Memento Rhubarb Stalk. The white panel was embossed with Cuttlebug Stylized Flower and coloured with green decorative chalk. The images were cut with Nestabilities Square and matted onto a Rose Red cs cut with Cuttlebug Vintage corner die (another neglected stuff of mine). I used another colour apart from white and green to give the card some pop. ;)

Happy Birthday Mr Speck
My son wanted to make a birthday card for his first grade teacher. Mr. Speck had just gotten a puppy named Tag that he brought into class, so we had to put Tag on it.

A Flip Top Cupcake
This is one of those cards that opens in two ways. The frosting flips up and the card opens for a message as well. I love pulling up these older cards. I have forgotten about most of them.

I used some yellow card, and polka dot blue card from my supplies, along with PTI spring rain card. I embossed part of the yellow card with the Cuttlebug Swiss dot embossing folder to add a little texture and matted it onto black card. I wasn't at all sure about using black on a baby card for some reason, but it did help the yellow to stand out. I used the PTI rickrack die to cut the spring rain cardstock and with a little playing around, I was also able to cut an additional very narrow strip from the same die. I cut the giraffe on my Cricut with the Zooballoo cartridge and shadowed it in black. The stamps were PTI Round and Round, Blonde Moments Sweet Nothings and a SeeD's baby set that has lost its label.
Labels: baby card, giraffe, boy, cuttlebug
This new baby card was made once again with the Wild Card cartridge baby carriage card on page 76 of the handbook. I layered it with some pastel plaid paper that I ran through the Swiss dots Cuttlebug folder for some texture. I finished it off by adding some baby buttons and faux stitching and inking around the edge.
Labels: baby card, baby carriage, cuttlebug, wild card
This card was embossed with the cuttlebug swirls folder and the gap at the end was filled with a scallop border trimmed to fit. I used the PTI mat stack 3 die to cut a mat from cream card and stamped it with some snowflakes from PTI Snowfall in creamy brown chalk ink. The focal point was from 2009 Holiday Tag Collection mounted onto a brown mat cut from a scallop circle punch.

I made with the Walk in My Garden Cartridge at a workshop a couple of years ago now.
The sunflower reminds me of the gorgeous ones I've seen in a local garden recently. Have a lovely day, and thanks for looking.

Anyway, for these cards, I pulled out my new Kate's ABC's - that I FINALLY got last week, and cut out these cute little umbrellas. Covered them with Glossy Accents, and glitter, then pop-dotted them onto the white frames that I cut from Elegant Edges. Added a sentiment for the outside and inside from Scrappy Mom's stamps and heat embossed them so they shine a little! Finished off with a little more Glossy Accents and glitter around the edges. It was getting a little dark when I photographed these, so they are a lot brighter and more fun in real life! Had a hard time getting a good picture, so had to settle for these!
